Churches abound in Charleston. While most are still places of worship, locals are finding new uses for some of the old buildings (e.g., Church and Union has been converted into a restaurant / honky tonk)

Church and Union is a former church that now houses a restaurant with great lattes. The owner used The Art of War by Sun Tzu as his inspiration for running a business; they even use copies of the book as receipt / credit card holders
